IT Home reported on October 4 that technology media 9to5Mac published a blog post yesterday (October 3) to share more details about Apple iPhone SE 4. The media believes that the source of the news is relatively reliable and has previously accurately leaked information related to iPhone 16 , so it is highly credible.
iPhone SE 4 Appearance
The source said that the iPhone SE 4 will have a more modern appearance, similar to the iPhone 14 , with a straight screen, narrow bezels, and a bangs design on the top.

The phone is internally codenamed V59 and uses an OLED panel with the same resolution of 1170 x 2532 as the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 .
The new model will introduce Face ID and cancel the Home button with Touch ID, but it will not have the Smart Island function.

Thanks to 8GB of RAM and the A18 chip, the iPhone SE 4 supports a number of Apple Intelligence features.
The iPhone SE 4 uses the same SoC as the iPhone 16 and is equipped with a 5-core GPU.

In terms of camera, the iPhone SE 4 will be equipped with the same 48-megapixel main camera and 12-megapixel front camera as the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, but it will not have an ultra-wide-angle or telephoto lens. It may be advertised as having a 2x optical zoom capability.
5G Baseband
The iPhone SE 4 will be equipped with Apple’s first self-developed 5G modem, codenamed “Centauri”, and will also support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The new modem will significantly reduce battery consumption, especially in low-power mode.
Although this is Apple’s first self-developed 5G baseband, it has some functional shortcomings, especially it does not support millimeter wave (mmWave) technology. This means that the 5G performance of the iPhone SE 4 may be limited in certain high-frequency network environments.
Release date and price
The iPhone SE 4 is expected to be released in the spring of 2025 and may be priced between US$459 and US$499 (IT Home Note: currently approximately RMB 3,225 to 3,506).
